Channel House - Murals

Channel House is an eclectic apartment community in Raleigh’s North Hills Innovation District that celebrates creativity, comfort, and modern urban living. Found at the base of Channel House is Maker’s Alley, a home for hyper-local purveyors and artisans. Urban living never looked so good.

We partnered with Channel House to transform their interior and exterior amenity spaces through a series of murals inspired by the local landscape, community, and spirit of the neighborhood. Working across a variety of environments, mediums, and styles, we developed multiple concepts that responded to each unique space.

Beginning with the exterior, our 80’ x 59’ mural spans across 8 stories of the facade, acting as a bright and dynamic anchor to Maker’s Alley. Inspired by the local foliage and topography of North Hills, the abstract shapes and colors can be seen from across the district.

We also created a series of interior murals for the various amenities, including an illustrative piece rich with texture and organic shapes which tells the story of the wildlife living in the nearby channel. In addition, a pair of bold and graphic pieces bring their own unique energy to both the lounge and gym spaces.
