Artville
Artville
Artville is Nashville, Tennessee’s first and only annual public arts festival dedicated to highlighting Nashville’s creative culture through site-specific art installations, immersive experiences, and art collecting opportunities - all free to the public.
We partnered with Artville's founding team to build a visual brand for their city-wide celebration of public art, creativity, and community. That work spanned brand identity, web design, wayfinding, social media, and marketing collateral.
Our background producing large-scale murals, participating in international mural festivals, and curating artists for other projects and exhibitions led to an invitation to join the Artville board as creative partners. Beyond the brand, we helped shape the festival itself: programming, project management, production logistics, artist curation, and on-the-ground coordination.
At first glance, the Artville symbol reads as a bold, playful "A" and "V." Look closer and you'll find a hidden "N," a nod to Nashville. It's a subtle detail, one that lets the identity reveal itself over time.
The first of its kind in Nashville, Artville demonstrates what happens when a community of artists and creatives come together to build an organized grass-roots initiative with the support of the city and established institutions. A true celebration of culture built from the ground up by the people who live it everyday.
Artville Walls
Artville Walls is an extension of the Artville festival, featuring the work of 12 Nashville-based artists and muralists. Lining Chestnut Street in Wedgewood-Houston, the murals showcase a diverse range of artists and mediums, from spray paint to sculptural elements.
For our studio, Artville Walls is a project that blurs the line between founders, designers, curators, and artists. Not only did we develop the concept of Artville Walls and its visual identity, we also played integral roles as curators and artists.
As curators, we worked closely with each selected artist over two years to shape a collection that reflects the city's diverse creative voices and visual styles. We guided the overall art direction, coordinated production, and helped bring each installation to life.
As artists, we also contributed a mural of our own, becoming part of the very collection we helped create.
